Kootenay Gold Inc. is an exploration and mining Company focused on the exploration and development of its top priority Promontorio Silver/Gold Project situated within the mineral rich Sierra Madre trend of Mexico. Encouraging results from ~20,000 meters of drilling on the Promontorio suggests the possible existence of a large Porphyry system similar to major producing deposits within the region.

Kootenay generated four gold/silver discoveries and raised ~$30 million since 2007. The treasury remains strong throughout current market conditions, enabling management to fast track exploration at Promontorio, expand its current drill program and continue working for 2-3 years without need of further financing.

Drilling on Promontorio continues to encounter widespread, high-grade mineralization to a depth of 650 meters. The Discovery Zone has identified a rich area approximately 200 meters by 300 meters in plan by 440 meters vertically, still open on three sides and at depth. Step out drilling (more than 1,600 meters from the original Discovery Zone) found very encouraging ag/au results. This new "Dorotea Zone" will be a focus within the completion of the current 35, 000 meter program. The additional 100+ holes will test a large 1.6 km 3D IP Anomaly identified on the project and newly discovered mineralized zones in the surrounding 90,000 hectare property.
